How did you get the part?
I had just signed with the David Wilder Agency and
this was "the first" thing that they sent me on. David was known for
having attractive actresses in his agency... his motto was... and I mean no
matter what the role... jeans... a tight t-shirt... and cowboy boots... so, I
came in and I told them that this was the first interview that this agency
had sent me out on and would you please tell him I wore what he told me... they
smiled... I really don"t remember reading for them... I think they were after a
look...
Seen any other F13 films?
I saw the original.
How long were you on set
Well, since I was not a major player in the whole
scenerio... just a couple of days at most.
Was the part you played the part you auditioned for?
I didn"t audition I just met with them as far as I
can remember...
Were there any other lines written for your character besides what was
used?
Gee, I hardly had anything to say in the first
place... I think I will be signing my photos at Screamfest in Orlando with "We
don"t give no food stamps."
Do you get recognized?
Not from that... but when people have
realized that I was in that film and I mentioned my little "role"... they
have recited... recited... the line to me. Some have even said that... it
was their favorite line in the entire film!!
Have you kept in touch with anyone from F13 part 3?
No, and one person I would like to know ... is someone who probably won"t even remember me... Gloria Charles... she was
so nice and kind to me... she had such a great strong look... and I
can still remember her constantly doing excercises while we were waiting for
set-ups. I hope she is happy... and achieved her goals.
Did your character in F13-3 have a first name?
Yes, Cashier.
Tell us how you feel
about the F13 legacy?
I am really looking forward to Screamfest in
Orlando... I have never ever been to anything like this and I hope to meet
everyone that is a fan that wants to meet me. I will have photos
from that film with and without my Jason... because that has been a major request
from fans of the film that have written me.
What are you up to these days?
You can bookmark my
website... anniegaybis.com. I hope your enjoy the journey...
I have
worked as an actress... singer... dancer... and have worked all
over the world.
I just completed a show that I rehearsed at Paramount
Studios... 'Red, Hot and Jazz' that was produced by Gary Smith.
Do you have any souvenirs from F13-3?
Like the cash register... sorry, no... just that I was proud to win a role in this film that has go onto take a life of its own.
If you could, Would you do it all over again?
Why not?
Any Final
words?
I am amazed at the cult following this film has taken... and hey, "I'm still ready for my close close up."This interview was conductedby count6string on August 28th 2007Edited by KyleQuestions by count6stringThank you Annie Gaybis for your time, it was greatly appreciated!
