Was it really important that Tommy sink Jason in Crystal Lake at the end of part 6? What would have happened if he put him in another body of water? Would he have been able to escape the clutches of that chain if he hadn't been in that particular lake? Did he really need to follow the books instructions about being in his original resting place where he drowned?
