Friday the 13th Part VIII: Jason Takes Manhattan Mysteries

Jason and Teleportation.

This is more of a joke question, if anything.
But there are instances where Jason seems to just appear somewhere, when he shouldn't be able to. The best example would be in Part 8 when he somehow appears on the crow's nest-pole and throws off someone-whose-name-I-cannot-remember.
Anyway, what do you think is the cause of this? Does Jason have the ability to teleport, or does he have stunt-doubles?
