He was looking through her sketch book and saw that she drew a pic of him and he said "Do I really look like that" and she said "You did last night"...
Then she said she was leaving and he said "C'mon gimme another chance... stay a week, help get the place ready".
Another chance? What did he do that he needs another chance? And he said how pretty she is and the way he touched her face and she seemed un-easy with it... I wonder what the whole deal was.

How did Jack dive into Crystal Lake head first yet his feet actually hit the water before his hands did.

Then in the 3rd frame his hands seem to hit the water before his knees.
Then in the movie you here a huge belley flop sound that must have stung like a bitch. Yet he doesn't let out a scream or show any reaction.

Was Jason Also Doing Some Killing In Part 1?
The one flaw in this theory is the first kill with Annie. Because she was in Pamela's Jeep at the end although the clothes of the killer in that kill had different clothes on.

when the cop gives Steve a ride back he gets a call for what seems to be a head on crash that involves the Jaws of Life. Two wounded or trapped I think. This ironicly kept the cops busy. coinsidence? I don't know how far Steve had to walk but, it might have given Mrs. V to get back to the camp in her jeep. I was wondering if anyone else wondered this. What ideas you guys might have for how she would have done this. Maybe she had something to do with his jeep stalling? She did have one a lot like his.

Okay the day Brenda heard his cries for help was 1979 June 13th... Jason drowned in 1957 at age 11... So Jason would have been 34 the day Brenda heard the cries. This was the topic that inspired me to create the C.L.A.D. Investigation team in the first place. So I thought we should see what theories pop up with further dissection. Here's mine.
When Jason jumped out of the Lake at the end of Part 1 it was just a delusion of Alice's. (him still being 11 years old gives this away...) Remember at the time the "jumping out of the lake" took place he was 34. (That's why he's 39 in Part 2).
Yet near the end of Part 1 Brenda can hear cries of Jason outside in the dark rainy night. I doubt Mrs. Voorhees can pull off a child's voice that perfectly... if you remember while she was physically talking out loud as Jason to herself "Kill her mommy" she did it in a less than child like voice.
So all that being said I would have to say the [original] cries of Jason Voorhees had echoed threw the haunting air on that night. On June Friday the 13th 1979, Jason's Birthday.
What exactly did Brenda hear? The ghostly cries? What actually made those cries? No matter what we say that will always be a mystery. But I'd love to hear your thoughts.

This is the answer we seem to be going with for this mystery. I will consider this case closed, if anyone has another explanation PM me and I will reopen the case.

Okay so from age 11 to 33 until his mother was killed, how come he never tried to contact his mother? After he escaped the clutches of death in Crystal Lake why didn't he go back for her? Why live in the woods alone instead for 22 years?
